Vehicle Rental Terms and Conditions
Age requirements and documents
Drivers must have a valid driving license of at least one full year prior to the day of rental. The minimum age limit is 21 years.
International driver's license is required by the Greek law for all drivers who are not citizens of the European Union. Also, the International Driver's License must be presented for each driver's license with characters that are not readable in English or in Greek.
Also, drivers are required to have their id card or passport.
Minimum rental period
The minimum rental period for any vehicle is one day. In the case of a one-day rental the minimum mileage limit is 200 km. Each extra kilometre is charged 0.15€ including VAT.
Taxes
The prices of our vehicles include all local taxes.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation, you can send an email to info@renttogo.gr with the details of your reservation.
Traffic fines
The fines and attached administrative penalties arising from any form of violation of the Greek Highway Code during the rental period shall be borne solely by you.
Fuel consumption
Fuel consumption is your responsibility. All renters are obliged to leave the car with the same amount of fuel as at the time of delivery, otherwise a fuel difference charge of 15€ will be applied. We do not refund for excess fuel.
Transportation of the vehicle outside of Greece or by boat
Transport of the vehicle by ship or for travel outside Greece is strictly prohibited without the written permission of Autodrive. The Autodrive insurance policy does not cover vehicles during transport by ship
Additional driver
It is possible to have an additional driver per vehicle, but you will be charged 5 euros per day for each additional driver. The additional driver must have a valid driver's license and meet the age requirements.
Delivery of vehicles
We offer free delivery and collection in the city of Kalamata and in areas or hotels that are a maximum of 10 km from the city and the airport. There is an additional charge for distances beyond those defined above. The additional charge is for delivery and pickup separately.
When picking up the vehicle, you must have a valid driving licence, passport or ID card with you. You will be given a rental agreement to check and sign. The Rental Agreement will list all services and insurance provided, as well as any additional services you have chosen.
Non-appearance
If you do not pick up the vehicle at the specified pick up time and place stated during the booking process, without prior written notice, your reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour. In the event that you are unable to pick up the vehicle at the specified pick up time due to a cancelled or delayed flight, please take the time to send an email to info@renttogo.gr or call us at +30 6986805250 or +30 6949564412 and inform us of your delay. This way, you ensure that your vehicle will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Early return / late return
If you return the vehicle earlier than the specified return date and time, please note that there will be no refund.
In case you return the vehicle later than the specified date and time of return, please note that there will be a grace period of 30 minutes. In the event that you fail to return the vehicle within this period, you will be charged a full day of rental, with the current price.
Loss of key
In case of a lost key, you will be charged for the new key.
Personal items and valuables
Autodrive is not responsible for personal belongings and valuables stolen or lost from the vehicle or damaged during an accident.
Extension of rental period
If you wish to keep the vehicle longer than the agreed period, you will need to contact Autodrive in order to extend the rental contract, subject to availability. Please note that you must contact us at +30 686805250 or +30 6949564412 at least 1 day before the return date.

Insurance CDW (Colision Damage Waiver)
With CDW (Colision Damage Waiver) insurance, the renter's liability is reduced to 950 euros. However, there are exceptions for damage not covered by the insurance. These include individual damage to the underside of the vehicle, wheels and tyres, as well as damage caused by driving on an unsuitable road surface, towing another vehicle, transporting explosives, negligence, rallying and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In addition, keys, roof canopies and wheel covers and other accessories are not covered by the insurance. Customers are required to notify Autodrive immediately in the event of an incident, otherwise the insurance may be cancelled.
